Every traveller entering Zanzibar must pay for the Zanzibar Travel Insurance. You may book it only on https://inbound.visitzanzibar.go.tz/ Note that it is not sufficient to use your personal travel insurance as you shall not gain entry to Zanzibar without this prescribed insurance.

Every Sponsor is paying it forward by assisting some students to participate at the Tech & AI Expo. You may, in addition, take up a sponsorship package for the African Solutions Hackathon.
There are two streams to the African Solutions Hackathon: First is the Student Stream that is open only to students at Tertiary institutions. Second is the Tech Enthusiasts & Startups Stream that is open to non-students.
First, make sure that your Institution has signed up to take part in the African Solutions Hackathon. Second, if it is participating in the Hackathon, teams from your Institution will be able to register through your Coordinator. out if your Institution is participating.
Student teams from participating Tertiary institutions will submit a registration form to enter the competition in May. A Regional competition shall be held to shortlist teams in June. A second Regional competition shall be held in July to identify the Regional Teams that will compete in the finals in Zanzibar.
Teams will submit an application form in June. Qualifying teams shall receive an invitation to compete in Zanzibar.
The Finals shall be held in Zanzibar in March. The announcement of the winners will take place at the Tech & AI Expo Gala Dinner.
